JEAN SAGENDORPH is a twenty-year veteran of the entertainment industry. At United Media she managed the firms publishing, interactive, film, and music interests and her clients included Food Network, Peanuts, Dilbert, Fancy Nancy, Raggedy Ann & Andy, Rainbow Brite, hoops & yoyo, Dirty Dancing, Iron Chef, Iron Chef America, History Channel, Deadliest Catch, Ice Road Truckers, The Elf on the Shelf, and more. Jean capitalized on her expertise within the publishing and entertainment industries when she launched Mansion Street Literary Management, a boutique literary agency.Jean is the author of Starry Night, Hold Me Tight (RunningPress) and co-author of Icebox Cakes (Chronicle Books). Jean has also been known to paint and create mixed media pieces; her work is sold through Cake Gallery in Bennington, VT.
DAWN DEVRIES SOKOL is the author and designer of numerous books on doodling and art journaling, including Doodle Zen (Abrams, 2016), A World of Artist Journal Pages (Abrams, 2015), Year of the Doodle (Abrams, 2015), The Doodle Circle (Abrams, 2013), and Art Doodle Love (Abrams, 2013). She has also illustrated and written a series of board books (Pet Palooza, GibbsSmith) for children. Sokol teaches her methods and techniques through her blog and other online venues. Her artwork has been shown in galleries from Tempe, AZ, to Tokyo, Japan. She has been published in numerous mixed-media magazines and art books. In her Tempe studioa mess of inks, paints, papers, and journalsshe creates in hopes of inspiring others to find their creative voice.
